Be Merry

My BE Merry LO was inspired by the Dec 15th Sketch at Stuck Sketches , it was a lot of fun to play with. I also used some Amazing challenges from the girls with Scrappy Friends !
For the WORD challenge I used MERRY, For the tic, tac,toe challenge I used Flair, Snowflakes and the color RED.  These are pictures of my dd's with their boyfriends on Christmas Eve 2 years ago. We have a tradition of always getting together for an OPEN HOUSE, celebrating with friends and family and taking lots of pictures.  With that in mind, this LO is for the Lasting Memories challenge #221.

Winter Walk

This LO is for Dec Week 2 Sketch at Let's Get Sketchy - This was another great sketch, I really had fun playing with this, I hope you can notice the layer of ruffled lace I ran down the left side of my photo, it really went well with the doily and snowflake mask.  This is a picture of my dd and her puppy Hope on a Beautiful Winter Walk we took after a snowfall.
My choice of papers and all the beautiful snowflakes was inspired by the SNOWFLAKES GALORE Challenge #220 at Lasting Memories - The challenge was perfect for this Wintery picture!

I'm so lucky

This LO was inspired by the Dec Week 1 Sketch at Let's Get Sketchy. This was a fun sketch to use, I loved the layers and split page.

Beautiful Day

Oh I am in Scrap Heaven with all of my dd's Wedding pictures to play with! Here is another LO I did using Bo Bunny papers and their November Sketch Bo Bunny Sketch Challenge. I loved making a romantic page with punched borders, embossing, lace, pearls and sequins it just screams Wedding Day to me. I also used this LO at Sketches for all for an upcoming challenge as a Guest DT member - Countdown to Christmas...hop over and keep an eye out for it as I will be offering a RAK to one lucky winner. Now here's the sketch and my LO!

Darling

I'm especially fond of this picture of my dd Madison and LOVE how this LO turned out. I feeli like it really show cases the photo, her spirit and the overall feeling of the entire day. This photo was taken at my other dd's wedding...this swing was in the side yard of the venue and during photos Madison just decided to try it out in her Bridesmaids gown... it's a total fun photo and I'm so glad the photographer captured this moment!

Life is good

This is another LO from our day in Xel Ha, this is a group photo of all the kids who were on vaca with us. This was actually my dd's honeymoon that the bridal party, close friends and family decided to crash. The kids didn't care at all it just made her wedding celebration continue for another amazing week. WE all had such a great time together!

Discover Xel Ha

I had a lot of fun with this weeks sketch! I rotated it 90 degrees and am really happy with how it turned out. This is a picture of my DD Madison while we were on vacation I Mexico, We spent the day exploring Xel Ha, zip lining, snorkeling, hiking and taking in it's wildlife and beauty.  This was our third time there and every time find something new to explore and enjoy.

Sketches 4 All November DT Challenge

I'm Loving all the fun challenges over at Sketches 4 All there are so many you really need to hop over and check them out! This LO is for the Nov DT Challenge - They posted an awesome mood board and sketch to play along with - Fall is one of y favorite time of the year so this was Easy Peasy for me! The irony though is that I used Fall colors and inspiration with this Family picture we had take this summer in a sunflower field! I love how the colors worked out though!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Stuck Sktches Nov 1st Sketch

I had a lot of fun working on this sketch for Stuck? Sketches I just LOVE Fall and had these amazing new pictures of my dd and her bf to do a page with.  This was a great sketch to use and I found the perfect papers! Thanks for the Inspiration!

Remember this

This LO was especially difficult yet therapeutic for me. The challenge from Lasting Memories this week was a Remember challenge LMC216, a LO in memory of someone. The person I chose to do a LO of is my beautiful sister Debbie May that passed away suddenly at the age of 57 this summer. Debbie was such a kind, fun, warm hearted person that enjoyed nature, animals and photography. To me she was just as beautiful behind her camera as she was in front of it. When I fist stated this page it was difficult just to look at her pictures but then as I handled them I felt warmth in my heart, I touched them gently and lovingly and found it hard to put them down...As the page developed... it became easier and easier to create and embellish as I used her love and affection for life and artistry as my inspiration. I miss my big sister every day, I love these photos and love how this page helped me mend some of the broken pieces of my heart.

Fall memories

Fall is absolutely one my most favorite times of the year! I love the cool crisp days , the vibrant colors of the changing leaves, pumpkins, Halloween and Thanksgiving! The beautiful warm colors of fall WOW me too... There are so many amazing challenges right now using prompts for all of my favorite things making scrapping so fun and easy ! I just love the colors and papers used in this layout  and inspired by Nov challenges.

Verve May 2014 Diva Dare

This months Verve Stamps Diva Dare is called Petals and Wings! The challenge is to have a flower and a butterfly on your card...  I used flowered paper, paper flowers and a paper butterfly. These are some of my favorite embellies so this was easy peasy for me!

I made this card for my sister that just had a knee replacement... Hope she likes it!

This is my entry for the 2nd week challenge Using Pink/Red with white, craft, or black. I used a lot of pink and red with a mix of the other basic colors. So I shopped through my Valentines Stash from Last year as I haven't gotten any yet this year, and came across some Crate Paper Bits and Pieces that I LOVED - Perfect right?!
I used a recent picture taken of me and my DH and had FUN with XoXo's, hearts, arrows and the word LOVE!
