Challenges and 3 Day Crop

I've been so busy getting organized, packed and ready for this weekends 3 day crop in Ocean City with my friends that I've missed out on all this weeks challenges....darn and oh well...there's always next week! Hope to have a lot of fun, and not worried about what I'll get done! Sure, getting pages and projects done is always a bonus but being with friends, having fun and relaxing is #1 on the list this time! I'll be back with some kind of pictures or pages to post soon!

Long Weekend = Paper Fun

I was soooo lucky to enjoy a long 4 day weekend and even luckier to sit and play with paper for 3 of those days! I made about 12 cards and 1 LO. Made all of my valentines day cards this year, forgot to take pics of all of them though before I hurried to get them in the mail - always last minute maniac!!! Another day was spent making fun decorations for a big crop at the end of the month....most of them from Paper, with lots of Glitter!!!! Will post pics after the crop......so check back and Thanks for looking!

Sketchy Thursday Challenge

Well it's that time of week again! I'm loving all the blog challenges that I'm finding and especially the sketchesover at Sketch Thursdays. Here is this weeks Fantastic Sketch and my LO for it!

I really liked these papers and knew right away I 'd use them for Madison's Sweet 16 Birthday because of their beautiful and matchingcolors.  This is the first time I've tried a doilie on a layout, so I spritz sprayed it with smooch and a little more o the paper...I realy like how that effect turned out. Now off to lala land, struggling to stay awake as I type this!

Paper Wings Blog Saturday Challenge

So the challenge this Saturday was to use a home/hand made embellishment on your LO. I loved this one and had great photos to work with!  My flowers were handmade and inked by moi! I just love making these in different sizes and colors...I also used a plain chipboard birdcage covered it with Ranger distressed paints, stickles, ribbon and one of my flowers and some cute chipbaord flourishes. I think it turned out pretty cute.This was a fun LO for me, Ireally liked working with all of the colors. Hope you get some good ideas and like the pictures of our cute little Kiwi and Squirt!

I'm having a great time with challenges and blog hopping...it inspires me to create more and try new things!

Sketchy Thursdays Challenge

This is a layout I did for a challenge at Sketchy Thursdays...I'm not crazy about all the white space I left but was trying something a little different and out of my comfort zone.  I love these pictures tthat we took while on our recent vacation to FL to visit my mom. We planned it to all wear the same thing and get some good photos of us together, me, Lauren and Madison with my mom and sister.  We had a lot of fun taking these pictures and made some great memories that we will have to look back on in these photos.

New Layouts

Last weekend I had the luxury of spending the whole day scrapping with some great friends...I got a calendar kit done and 3 LO's, never seems like much accomplished for a days work but I'm loving these LO's that I'll share with you! Some of my absolute favorite things to do and use these days is the Ranger Distress crackle paint! And cricut die cuts embossed with the cuttle bug...nothing fancy but just love how you can spruce things up a little with these tools. Hope you like!
