I mad this card for a Manufact. Challenge at Paper Secrets - Needed to use 75% Basic Grey - I just love the romantic tones to this card.....I just love anything pink, girly, sparkly and pretty!

Here's my take on the Sketch ... Have to admit scrapbooking pages of guys/boy/men is very challenging for me! Having two girls and loving girly things, colors, flowers and embellies has made my scrapbooking life a breeze...so when it comes to Masculine Pages I just hit a block and have a hard time using flowers but when I see other LO's done and flowers are on them I like a them...ugh...such a dilema for my OCD!

I love this picture of my Husband - Kevin, and I couldn't wait to scrap it....so this was the perfect promt!

Those Creative Juices Are Flowing!!!

WoW! More often that not, I sit in my Scrap Room and check stuff out, look at pictures and get supplies out but have a hard time getting the creative juices flowing...But recently a wonderful huge miracle happened and I found my MOJO!!! I did have a little (LOT) of help from sketch contests, 2 new kits from MCS, vacation photos and papers from my favorite local SB Store Paper Wings to nudge me in the right directions too! I must say I'm really happy with the LO's I came up with! Drum Roll Please.........LOL!

Just a FUN LO of our vaca in VT. This paper was perfect. The doiley snowflakes were fun to make and a feature in Scrapbooks Etc this month.

Vermont Vacations

So this year we decided to try a different vacation spot from our normal Florida destination. We picked the chilly temps and scenic mountains of Brownsville Vermont. We had a great time just site seeing and taking in the local visitor spots. A few things we did included sledding and tubing at the Resort - LOTS of laughs and a few good bruises were had! A stop at Queechee Gorge with a little walk/hike, wine tasting, cheese tasting, antiqueing, checking out covered bridges and Harpoon Brewery with some great ale tasting! Toured Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Factory, more taste testing! Tubing wasn't that great at Okeemo like we had hoped but riding the Timber Coaster - a roller coaster through the mountain/ski area - was pretty exciting and freezing cold!!! Keeping warm meant bundling up everyday! BRRRR!!!! And our most memorable event had to be Dog Sledding - a 45 minute ride on trails through the woods. The dogs are amazing and being the person standing on the sled IS NOT as EASY at it looks....so if given a choice - ride in the basket!!! I couldn't resist posting some pictures that show some of the fun we had on this WINTER ADVENTURE! One things for sure...it's much easier to pack for the beach!
