Holiday Fun!

Once again time has slipped away... Spent the last couple weeks making my Christmas cards - love how they turned out this year, I've been shopping, decorating, making lists and being busy....no time for scrapbooking though.  The kids put the tree up this year and did most of the decorating, GREAT JOB! And we spent a fun night making gingerbread houses. Only 4 more days til Christmas, hope to get some baking done soon....Can't wait til Christmas Day and to spend time with family and friends.

Alpaca Fun

A couple weeks ago we visited the local Alpaca farm...again. This time it was picture day and we could go inot the pens with them...taking pix and feeding them was fun, their little scarves are reindeer antlers were adorable, who could resist their fluffy fur and big brown eyes...that is until they spit on you. Yes I got spit on by and Alpaca...it wasnt too bad though...LoL! It seemed more like a sneeze with a mouth full of carrot...it was pretty funny! We visited the store afterwards where Madison got some cute glove and Lauren bought Alpaca yarn that I'm using to make her a scarf. Anyhow...hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed the experience.

R and R

Having the pleasure of taking a long 4day weekend to just stay home get some R&R I must admit I'm feeling very refreshed....I spent a lot of time just pitter pattering around the house. A little cleaning, A great short hair cut, some tanning , some baking, some fun with friends, my kids and my puppies.....I even managed to bake some pretty yummy cookies. But my favorite indulgence of course was some paper crafting. I managed 5 new LO's, 3 cards and the start of an altered proj.  Two of the LO's are for a challenge over at My Creative Scrapbook and 1 is from thier new Nov kit. Pumpkin Picking at the Farm

Every year we go to the Farm to pick pumpkins for decorations and carving. This year Kyle joined us for his first picking! Madison drove the Gator with Gail and Sophie so they could bring all our goodies back to the house. It was such a nice day to walk the dogs, search for pumpkins and take pictures.

Fall Fun

WoW. I just can't believe how fast time flies by. Both girls are back in school and doing great. Lauren is swamped with lots of work in her second College yr, and Madison is doing just fantastic so far her Jr year of HS. More exciting news to share is that Madison started a new job at a Salon last week and got her Drivers Permit......(pictures to follow).......it sure doesn't seem all that long ago that she was cruising around the yard in the Barbie Jeep.
